Love is the section of Dada.net dedicated to meeting new people ... and maybe even meeting your match!

Go to http://love.dada.net to find profiles of people all over the country. You can send them messages or chat with them live.

All you have to do is sign up and create your profile. Then, you can search for your soulmate from our pool of thousands of registered users.

What kind of picture should I add to my dating profile?

Choose your picture well: It makes it easier for others to find and contact you. Add your picture instantly and change it any time you want by going to love.dada.net, clicking on "Your Love Space" and "Change Picture." Here are a few tips:

-Your picture must be in a digital format (.gif or .jpg). You can upload your picture directly from your PC or Mac, or from a CD, DVD, USB drive or digital camera.

-Try look as natural as possible. Choose a clean picture; usually a headshot works best. You can also do a full shot as long as your face is clearly visible.

-Do not upload or send pornographic images. Nudity is not allowed on Love -- this includes partial nudity and pictures in underwear only, even if they are not explicitly pornographic. Save those pics for your Private Lounge!

-Pictures of people other than you are not allowed. This includes pictures of children, animals, famous people or landscapes. Those kind of pics are fun, but the purpose of Love is to put yourself on display in order to find a match, not to feature other people!

-Do not touch up the photos, do not make collages, do not add writing on top of the pictures (such as names, phone numbers, addresses, Web sites, instant messenger nicknames, etc.).

How can I change my Love profile?

You can change your Love profile any time by going to love.dada.net and clicking on "Your Love Space" and "Change your Profile."

Your username, your gender, who you're looking for (male or female) and your cell phone number are the only details you cannot modify.

How can I add a picture to my Love profile?

First of all, your picture has to be digitally formatted (as .gif or .jpg). You can upload your picture directly from your PC or Mac, or from a CD, DVD, USB drive or digital camera. Adding your picture is really easy:

Go to love.dada.net and click on Your Love Space. Then, click on the link "Add a picture."
A page will open where you will find the button "Browse" or "Find" (the name will depend on your operating system and your browser).
A window will open and all you have to do is select the picture you want. Choose, click and confirm.
Once the window closes, click on the button "Publish your picture."
Once your picture has been added, you just have to wait for it to be approved by Dada staff before it can be viewed online by other users. If the system rejects your picture because the format is not permitted, try renaming your file in lowercase characters or uppercase characters without any spaces. You can go back to the first page to add a new picture at any time.

How can I contact other users with Love profiles?

Have you found someone you really like who you want to chat with?

Click on “Write me a Message” or “Send me a Quickie” to contact people who are online in real time.

On your Love Space, you will be notified when you receive new “Messages” and “Quickies.” Click on the link and check who wrote to you!

If you don’t want to be contacted by that person in the future, all you have to do is click on the link “Add to Blacklist,” which you’ll find in the message that was sent to you.

How can I see who's been looking at my Love profile?

From your Love Space, Click on the link "You have been visited by" to display the list of people who have visited you. You can view their profiles, write them a message, chat with them and add them to your favorites list.

How can I chat with other users who have dating profiles?

Love Chat is the fastest way to make contact with cool, interesting people!

If you come across a profile of someone you like, invite him/her to chat by clicking "Chat me up!" Or you can select "start chatting now!" in the top right corner of any Love page.

Is there a test I can take to be matched with other users?

To help you find your soulmate, we came up with a simple psychological test. By completing the test, you’ll discover some interesting new facts about yourself, find out what your approach toward love is and what you're looking for in a partner.

Based on your result, Love will crosscheck your profile with others users who have also taken the same test, suggesting the profiles that are most similar to yours.

What are Favorites?

To add someone to your Favorites list, just go to the profile of the given user and click on "Add me to your favorites."

You can view your Favorites on your Love page, where you'll find the list of your Favorites who are currently online.

How can I search for specific types of Love profiles?

From your Love Space, you can search for a specific user by username, or you can search by age range and location.

Private Lounge

Your Private Lounge is your personal area where you can publish whatever you want: pictures, videos, descriptions, etc.

You decide who can come in and see your content. Anyone who wants to see your Private Lounge must be authorized by you. If you want to see someone else's Private Lounge, you have to ask their permission first.

Click on "Enter his/her Private Lounge" on the person's profile page to request authorization.

On your Love Space, you can keep track of all the Private Lounges you are authorized to enter, access requests to your Private Lounge from other users and maintain your blacklist.

How can I manage my Favorites?

In the “Favorites” section, you can manage the list of all your favorite users! To add someone to your favorites list, just go to the profile of the user you want to add and click on “Add me to your favorites.” To delete a user from your favorites list, click “Delete from favorites,” which you’ll find under each name on your list.

On your homepage, you can see which of your favorite users are currently online. You can contact your favorites instantly!

How can I add a user to my blacklist?

If you no longer want to be contacted by someone, you can add them to your Blacklist. Your Blacklist is a special folder for profiles of people you don’t receive message from.

To add a person to your Blacklist, click on the link “Add to Blacklist” in the message sent to you.

How can I manage my Love account?

To verify your information and the status of your subscription, click on "Account" next to your username at the top of the page (when you are logged in.) You can access your profile or cancel your service at any time.
